At the weekend we have heard some good news about our historic desolate Princes Pier .Developers wish to build 4 story apartments and resturants along this very long pier much to the anger of residents and those interested in the history of such an landmark.Petitions signed and sent to our State Gov and Heritage Victoria also lodged an objection ,then came the Melbourne Harbour Trust and the Webb Dock authorities with their concerns of shipping and pollution of the bay ,so we now await the enquiry that will tell us their decision sometime inJune 2001.
