Today is Sunday the 29th of April 2001. A sunny day that brought people out to walk, eat and enjoy the bay, cafes with their tables and chairs out on the footpaths were full, bikes and dogs tied up as their owners ate and drank and chatted to friends. Waiters runoff their feet trying to keep up with the hoards. Perhaps as more people now live in apartments this is the lifestyle we will now see more of. I like it ,it brings the city alive and one does not seem as lonely .It perhaps is not for all of us due to the cost and where we live but those lucky enough to experience it are indeed living in the lucky country. As May is approaching we are aware our ramblings along the bay and outside dining are coming to an end but in this year of 2001 we have had it good. Don't you agree? On Beautiful days like this the nights are fresh and good for sleeping and when we wake in the morning and are able to take in our parks with the trees loosing their leaves one is aware just what a grand city Melbourne is.
